Composition: Vinyl Acetate-Vinyl Chloride-Ethylene Terpolymer

Characteristics: EVA-VC is a terpolymer of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and ethylene with high thickening response and distinguished wet track. The emulsion is suitable for general adhesive use, especially for high-speed lamination work and where fire retardance is necessary. Because of its low Tg / MFFT, a homogeneous film is formed without any addition of solvents or plasticisers at temperatures even down to 0 oC. The transparent film is the softest among the whole series of our EVA-VC products and is further characterised by its low surface tackiness, good resistance against water, solvents, alkali, light and general ageing. EVA-VC is a recommended base for the formulation of "Emulsion Polymer Isocyanate" (EPI) wood adhesives, even meeting class D4 (boiling water resistance) of the European Standard DIN EN 204, suitable also for a broad variety of different wood species.

Compounding: EVA-VC accepts a high load of fillers, e.g. types like calcium carbonate, clay, shellor wood flour. If the lower viscosity is demanded, it can, of course, be adjusted by carefully adding water to the formulation. The emulsion is best compatible with cement, which can be directly blended in, without any build up of lumps or agglomerates. EVA-VC being stabilised by PVA as a protective colloid is miscible with all other non- and anionic-stabilized emulsions of our DA-series, but trials should always be carried out before mixing it with other polymer dispersions. Note, that resulting films formed from those mixtures may become hazy when different emulsions with a different refractive index are used. For high viscosity applications, PVA or polyurethane/polyacrylic based thickeners show good effects.

Cleaning: Machines, tools and equipment's should be immediately cleaned up with warm water

Made from a combination of water, polymers, and additives, water-based adhesives are ideal for porous  substrates. These adhesives may be used on porous surfaces as the water evaporates or is absorbed by one of the substrate.

We provide superior quality of Water Based Adhesive. These adhesives are extensively used to bond wood with wood, wood-based materials and laminates. The adhesive has a go wet track, reasonable open time and is mechanically stable and will crosslink after evaporation of water. D3 Adhesives are fast drying water-resistance adhesive specifically formulated in compliance with British Standards. These adhesives are mostly recommended for interior use in areas where enhanced water resistance is required but are not exposed to heavy rainfall.

Product Details:

Vinyl Acetate Ethylene is used in adhesives, sealants and coatings. It is the basis of many hot melt adhesives when blended with a petroleum wax and a resin tackifier. Also, it imparts plastic-like properties that enable wax to compete effectively with high-quality polymeric coatings. Flexibility, resilience, toughness and transparency increase with increasing vinyl acetate content. The typical applications are footwear components, toys and athletic goods, flexible packaging, films etc.

We offer Vinyl Acetate ethylene Emulsion, which is a general-purpose copolymer water-based emulsion that can be used in the film bonding, paper bonding, floor, wall and ceiling adhesive. In the general formulation, it can be combined with plasticisers, solvents, thickening agents, extenders etc.
The popular uses are PVC, Plastic or metal (Under pressure) film bonding, Plastic Material, Cellular materials and ceramic tiles to absorbent substrates bonding, polymers cement paste for waterproofing.
